Book AI

Privacy policy

What data is involved when you imagine, create, and read in Book AI, who processes it, and how you can control it.

Who handles your data

Daniel Unapanta provides Book AI: Story Generator. You can email infodunapantsolutions@gmail.com with questions about this policy or to exercise rights over the data we manage. This policy covers the app, its creation and reading features, and related services.

You may use the app as a guest or sign in with Apple or Google. Generation, purchases, and optional ads involve outside providers, described below.

Information we collect

To manage your account, we store an internal identifier, the username you choose, and your sign-in method. If you sign in with Apple or Google, we store the provider identifier needed to recognize your account. We do not receive your Apple or Google password. To limit guest sign-up abuse, we create an identifier from the IP address and the day; we do not store the IP address in that record.

To create and display books, we process your prompts, form choices, stories, chapters, descriptions, and images, as well as language and other information needed to present content. We store coin balances, request status, purchase and reward records, and reports you submit.

The app and its providers may receive technical information needed for connectivity, service protection, error diagnosis, and ads, such as device information, identifiers available under your permissions, IP address, and usage events. The specific information each provider receives depends on the feature you use and your device settings.

How we use information

We use this data to authenticate you, create and save books, retrieve your library, show images and PDFs, calculate and credit coins, verify purchases, prevent duplicate rewards, and respond to support requests or reports. We also apply usage limits and safeguards against abuse.

Story and image generation starts when you request a book. We review operational generation data, such as status and technical cost, to improve reliability and control service spending. We do not sell your books as a story database.

Outside services

We host the API, records, and app files on Amazon Web Services (AWS). We send OpenAI the prompts needed to generate a story; if the primary service fails, we may use Google Gemini as an alternative. If you enable illustrations, we send scene descriptions to fal.ai to create images. Content sent to these services is processed under their own terms and policies.

Apple or Google verify your identity if you choose their sign-in and handle payment for coin packs through their stores. RevenueCat helps verify and record purchase status. We do not receive your full payment card number.

AppLovin provides rewarded ads that you choose to watch to earn coins. Its SDK may process device and ad-interaction information under its policies and your system settings. You can use the core features without watching an ad. Ad availability and personalization may vary.

Storage and retention

We keep your account, balance, and associated books while you maintain the account or until you delete the content. Daily identifiers used to limit guest accounts expire after about three days. Operational and security records are retained as needed for their purposes and applicable obligations.

When you delete your account, we remove its books, images, generation jobs, sessions, and reports from our systems. We keep transaction identifiers unlinked from your account to prevent the same purchase from being credited twice. Apple, Google, RevenueCat, and AI providers may retain information they processed under their own policies and obligations.

Providers may process information outside your country. We use encrypted connections and access controls to protect the service, although no system can guarantee absolute security.

Your controls and rights

You can view and download your books in the app. In Settings, you can sign out and request deletion of your account. If a generation is in progress, you must wait for it to finish before deleting the account. You may also contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of data we manage; we will ask for enough information to verify that the account is yours.

You can control permissions and ad privacy options through iOS or Android. If you share a PDF outside Book AI, that copy is controlled by its recipient and is not erased when you delete the book in the app.

Younger readers and generated content

Book AI lets you select a suggested age for a story, but this does not replace adult supervision. Stories and images are generated by AI and may contain errors or unexpected content. We recommend that parents or guardians accompany minors using the app and review content before sharing it.

If you believe a story or ad is inappropriate, you can report it in the app or contact us. We will investigate the report and take appropriate action.

Updates and contact

We may update this policy as features, providers, or legal requirements change. We will publish the current version and last updated date here.

For questions about privacy, purchases, ads, or account deletion, email infodunapantsolutions@gmail.com. Do not send passwords or complete payment details.
